Inpatient Care
We believe recovery is achievable
MCES provides hospitalization to adults (age 18 and over) at risk of harm to self or others, or otherwise unable to care for themselves because of serious mental illness. MCES strives to resolve severe mental health crises, stabilize psychiatric emergencies, and arrange ongoing care as needed.
A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social service caseworkers, allied therapists and psychiatric technicians provides care that is recovery-oriented, strength-based, and trauma aware. Physician Assistants address ongoing patient medical needs.
We help patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders understand how their mental health and treatment are affected by substance use, how mental illness affects sobriety and recovery, and why treatment for both must be concurrent.
We offer counseling by certified addiction specialists, recovery and educational groups, and on-site 12-Step meetings led by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) speakers.
Our Ongoing Abstinence Recovery Schedule™ (OARS) Program that helps patients with co-occurring disorders develop a personal hourly/daily/weekly recovery schedule to sustain a sober lifestyle.
